Great build. however, if you are doing a completely new machine, you should go i7. it’s worth the price. If you don’t, the 955 is the next best. I would also change the case to a nzxt tempest, antec 900, or coolermaster cm 690(my fav). Overall, good build.
It looks like a decent build to me although, personally i would be using an Intel CPU and an Asus motherboard.
Unless you’re going to install a 64 bit operating system then 8 gigs of ram is a waste as a 32 bit operating system will only recognize a little over 3 gigs.
The only thing your motherboard why buy a motherboard that has an integrated video card if you want to run dual video cards, it’s a waste.
Also I have seagate drives, stick with western digital. there is a reason why they are more expensive.

The old WD Raptor are a waste of money at this point, since it is SATA I, and the bandwidth is 1.5Gb. You should just get a 300GB Velociraptor for almost the same price or even the WD Black edition drives for more storage.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as…
Sounds a helluva lot faster than my PC, and mine will play Fallout3 and Crysis on medium/high settings at 25-30+ FPS. In other words, YES, it looks good. Buy me one too kay?

Curious as to why 8GB.
A recent article on tomshardware.com showed no improvement in modern games with anything over 3 gigs. Though it’d make a sick ramdisk
I also suggesting either a raid setup instead on the raptor, or a SSD if you have the cash. (RAID for throughput, SSD for access times).
Just a thought, but, what about a tri-crossfire setup with 4870s? 4890s only have a 10% performance increase and a large price increase if you’re not overclocking over the 4870. But they OC like a champ. However in some cases tri-crossfire isn’t the best scenario.
Also, what’s your budget?

For nightlife, the Gaslamp Quarter offers dining, drinking and dancing. It's also the home of Petco Park and the San Diego Padres major league baseball team.
The Old Point Loma Lighthouse at the Cabrillo National Monument offers great views of the dowtown skyline, San Diego Harbor and the Pacific Ocean. On a clear day you can see all the way to Mexico.
