why did God need to see Adam alone to realize he would need a companion?
Again there is no verse that says God needed to see Adam alone and then discovered that Adam needed a helper. God does things for a reason. God created Adam first and showed him the animals so that Adam would realize that he needed Eve. One good reason would be that Adam would be appreciative of Eve and also see that God does things for man's happiness.
Genesis 2:18 says 'And the LORD God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
It doesn't say "And God then realized Adam didn't have a companion.
Also, isn't it kind of moronic to make male and female for every species but only make male for humans?
